Greetings:The most powerful goal achievement tool is belief. If you believe that you can achieve it, you are half way there. Often we look to others to believe in us and convince us that we should believe too. It actually works the other way around. Others won't believe until we believe. Paradoxically others don't base their judgments on just what they believe we can do, but what they believe we think we believe we can do. People act as our mirrors. If we lack belief in ourselves, most likely others will too. Before you set out to achieve any goal, ask yourself if you believe you can do it. If you are not 100% convinced that you can achieve the goal, don't try. It takes 100% commitment to be able to achieve what you want. As the quote says, "If you can conceive and believe, you can achieve."Let's make sure we are on the same page here. I want to clarify that I am not saying you have to accomplish 100% of your goals. That isn't the point. The point is that you will accomplish more if you commitment 100% and believe in yourself and your abilities. I once worked with a gentleman who never committed 100% to anything because we wanted to reserve judgment if something would work or not. He had the attitude that "seeing was believing." No big surprise that most things didn't work out for my co-worker. He was actually using the concept of belief, unfortunately to his disadvantage. He didn't believe in himself or his abilities, therefore he didn't totally commit, and the results reflected that lack of belief and commitment. Is there something that you have been working on, but hasn't totally come together yet? Check to see if you believe 100% in yourself and your abilities to accomplish the task. If not, take a step back and figure out what it will take to commit 100%. If you can't, then stop working on the task until you can or find something that you can give yourself to 100%.RachelleQuotes"I believe that you cannot go any further than you can think.
